Hello crafter's. I hope you're OK.

This week, I have a fun watercolour project for all art and craft abilities.

Let's go through it...

I started by prepping my card stock. I cut a piece of a4 watercolour card in half lengthways and folded it in half to creat a top fold UK A6 card blank.

I also then cut more watercolour card down to create a piece approximately 5mm smaller round each edge than the card front.

Onto this panel, I freehand drew my design using a black waterproof fineliner.

Now I whipped out my watercolour paints and added some colour! I used the Nova watercolour paints.  These are a really great set of watercolours. Such pretty colours and a truly amazing price They're ideal for all abilities and certainly perfect for small areas, such as this design. For extra interest, I added some splats to the card panel in the same colours as the hearts by adding extra water to the pans and lightly tapping against my finger the loaded brush over the image.

Next, I gave the hearts a subtle sparkly layer using a liquid glitter overlay pen. I allowed this to dry completely before adding some white highlight using my white gel pen.

Lastly, I stamped a little sentiment, before attaching the panel to my card blank using foam tape.

I enjoyed making this card and look forward to making some more in the future using my watercolours.

Until next time, take care.

Love, Dani xx
