Hello crafter's! I hope everyone is well.

I've got a new project and thus, a new tutorial for you this week using the fabulous Dovecraft 12x12 Pastel paper pack....

My first step was to select the colours from my paper pack

I anticipated making a rectangle made of 8 squares so I selected 4 colours.

I set about cutting my die twice from each selected colour.

I cut a piece of White card approximately the same size as an A6 card front.

I placed the largest part of the square for each of my 8 squares onto my card ensuring the space around the top/bottom and sides was equal before adhering.

Once I was happy with the placement, I starting attaching these pieces using wet adhesive.

Now, I filled in all the squares sticking each piece down with wet adhesive, in a colour order and followed this throughout, returning to the first colour and so on when I'd reached the last colour.

Once all squares were complete, I tried away all white edges.

Using a piece of paper in the same colour used in the squares, I cut I piece the same height as the panel of squares and approximately 15mm wider on each side. I stuck this directly to my white UK A6 top fold card blank using my tape runner (wet glue on large areas of paper tends to show through to the front so I avoid this).

Then, I stuck the panel of squares down using foam tape.

To finish, I added some pre-made sentiments from my stash.

This is a great male card, which I know a lot of us struggle with.

Until next time, take care.

Love, Dani xx
